About Lane County Criminal History

Lane County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff's Office, Oregon courts, Oregon State Police Criminal Justice Information Services, the Oregon Department of Corrections, and the Oregon Sex Offender Registry. Each office keeps a different part of the record. This private reference was created to help readers identify the correct official portal, counter, address, or phone number without treating one source as a complete criminal history.

Why We Built This Site

Oregon makes many justice records available, but access depends on the custodian. Lane Adult Corrections keeps current custody and jail material. The arresting police agency holds its incident report. Lane County Circuit Court maintains filed charges, case events, judgments, and sentences, while Oregon State Police CJIS maintains the state repository. Corrections and registry searches are separate again. This site brings the official access routes, request steps, fees, and office details into a single Lane County reference.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, with no affiliation to an Oregon court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those limits matter:

  • We do not issue certified court documents, criminal histories, or repository records
  • We cannot give legal advice about a charge, judgment, or motion to set aside
  • We cannot submit a records request, court motion, or other filing for a visitor
  • We do not run official criminal history checks or retrieve individual records
  • We cannot promise that an office's fee, hours, phone number, or address has not changed

An official copy must come from its custodian, such as Lane County Sheriff's Office, the court, or Oregon State Police CJIS. This site only identifies those sources.
